Guardian Project

A Path of Healing through Outdoor Excursions
The Guardian Project is our first mental health program that utilizes eco-adventure therapy. Led by White Heart Warrior Cpl. Jed Morgan, groups of veterans are taken on remote outdoor excursions with the goal of improving mental well-being. This unique environment creates a comfortable space where veterans battling post-traumatic stress or military sexual trauma can open up and relate to others who have had a similar experience.

Reaching Out to Help

Free To Fly is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on combating human trafficking through awareness and survivor support. Its mission is to mend the lives of children, adolescents, and adults affected by exploitation, addressing issues like familial trafficking, organ trafficking, and forced begging. With private investors covering operating costs, 100% of donations and net proceeds from its eCommerce store directly benefit survivors. The organization emphasizes the profound impact of helping even one individual and provides resources, such as the US Human Trafficking Hotline (888-373-7888), to report exploitation.

Green Beret Racing

Green Beret Racing is a nonprofit organization based in Colorado Springs, CO, dedicated to supporting active and retired U.S. Army Special Forces members, known as Green Berets, by combating PTSD and suicide through competitive activities and community engagement. Founded with the mission to provide meaningful, adrenaline-driven outlets, the organization facilitates participation in high-intensity events like off-road racing, including The Mint 400, and mountain climbing challenges such as the “14 Peaks in 14 Weeks” initiative. By fostering healthy competition and purpose outside of military service, Green Beret Racing aims to build a supportive community, promote positive mental health, and provide access to experiences that may be otherwise unattainable for veterans. The organization, led by Executive Director Nick Merrick, relies on donations and partnerships with entities like Polaris and Nine Line Apparel to fund its programs and empower its athletes to pursue transformative goals.
